Carrot Bacon
A fun rendition to Classic Bacon Strips! Add Carrot Bacon to your Brunch Menu for a new twist.
Ingredients:
- 2 Large Carrots
- 1 Tablespoon of Liquid Smoke
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/4 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Onion Powder

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 225ºF.
- Wash Carrots, Trim ends, and lightly Peel them. Using a wide Peeler, Peel long, thick strips from each Carrot.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. In a separate dish, lay the Carrot Strips down. Pour mixture over the Carrots. Allow to Marinate for 15 Minutes.
- Line a Baking Sheet with Parchment and Bake for 25 Minutes, Flipping halfway. (or until they've reached desired crispiness).
- Serve and Enjoy!
