Recipe Type: Entree
Optional: Add an extra Teaspoon of Chili Powder if you like it hot!
- 2 Lbs Boneless Beef Cubes
- 2 Teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 Vidalia Onion, Chopped
- 1 Large Green Pepper, Chopped
- 2 15 oz cans Black Beans
- 2 15 oz cans Chili Style Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
- 1 6 oz Can Tomato Paste
- Salt and Pepper, To Taste
- Sargento Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Cut up the beef into 1 inch Cubes
- Put the beef into a slow cooker and put on low heat.
- Sprinkle Chili Powder, Garlic Powder and Ground Cumin over the meat evenly.
- Add the chopped onions and chopped green pepper on top.
- Drain and rinse the beans. Add them into the cooker. Then add in the tomatoes and sugar.
- Place cover on top and let cook on low from 8 to 10 hours.
- Remove cover. Stir the Tomato Paste into the pot. Season with salt and pepper.
- Top with Shredded Cheese.
