Recipe Type: Entree
- 2 Tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Yellow All Purpose Onion
- 1/4 Cup Diced California Sleeved Celery
- 2 Cups Peeled, Diced Apples
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Ocean Spray Craisins
- 1/4 Cup Domino Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Hot Water
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Bell’s Poultry Seasoning
- 4 Cups Croutons
- 1 Fresh Pork Loin Crown Roast Bone In (7-9 Lbs)
- Over medium low heat, heat butter up in a large skillet. Once melted, add in the onions, celery, apples and Craisins to the pan. Stir while cooking for about 5 to 8 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar, hot water, lemon juice, salt, poultry seasoning and croutons.
- Put the crown roast into a roasting pan. Take your stuffing and fill the crown, heaping in the center.
- Use a piece of foil to cover the stuffing, which will prevent drying out. Wrap ends of each bone with a small piece of foil.
- Preheat your oven to 325°F.
- Place the roast into the oven for 3 to 4 hours, or until internal temperature reads 175°F.
- Remove foil.
- Serve.
