Recipe Type: Entree
- 2 Lbs Boneless New York Sirloin Steak, Cut 1 Inch Thick
- For Marinade:
- 1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- 1/2 Tablespoon Sugar
- Combine all of the ingredients for the marinade into a small bowl.
- Put the steaks into a large plastic bag that is resealable. Pour the Mustard Marinade into the bag. Seal bag securely.
- Turn to coat all sides of the steak.
- Place the bag into the refrigerator and let the steaks marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Once steaks are done marinating, preheat your broiler.
- Remove the steak from bag and discard the remaining marinade. Put the steaks onto a broiling pan.
- Let steaks broil for about 18 minutes (cooking time may vary according to desired doneness), turning occasionally.
- Remove the steaks from oven. Slice and serve.
