“Handy” Helpers
Thanksgiving is stressful if you’re the one cooking the holiday feast. If you have kids to entertain, or who want to help out–it can make your day just a little bit crazier. Avoid losing your cool by getting them involved (while simultaneously getting them out of the way in the kitchen!) Let them make the seating cards. Have them trace both of their feet with a pencil on brown construction paper. Give them orange, yellow, and red papers to trace their hands on. Then they can cut out the tracings and glue them together to make a cute little turkey place holder. Once the turkey is all put together, have them write the names of the guests on each bird.
If the kids are really getting too rowdy and they need to be out of the house completely…we have another fun idea for placeholders that will keep them busy. Ask them to go out in the yard and collect dry leaves. Bring them back inside and let them write the guests names on each of the leaves.
Drinks
Grab a Gallon of Zeigler’s Fresh Apple Cider to make Hot Apple Cider. Add your spices and heat up in a saucepan on low heat for about a half hour. Serve in a fancy mug garnished with orange peel and toss in those cinnamon sticks before serving.
Pick up Garelick Farms Egg Nog for another special holiday drink to enjoy.

This Pillsbury recipe is unbelievable! Indulge in this delicious Chocolate Chip Cheesecake with Chocolate Glaze Topping. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever tried. The best part–its easy to make!
This is a great treat to make with the kids. With just some melted chocolate, icing, Reese’s Buttercups and a Chips Ahoy Cookie…you can quickly create a Pilgrim’s hat! Just dip the cookie into the melted chocolate and place on a plate with a sheet of wax paper. Unwrap the the Buttercup and place into the chocolate and hold until it stays in place. Put in the fridge until chocolate is hardened. Make the buckle of the hat with some orange icing. They make cute tiny desserts and the kids have so much fun making them.
