Recipe Type: Entree
- 1 Lb Ground Turkey
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- 1 Onion, Sliced Thinly
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 Can (15 oz) Chickpeas
- 1 Can (14.5 oz) Del Monte Diced Tomatoes
- 1/3 Cup Scallions, Sliced
- Cook the turkey in oil, until browned.
- Add in the onion, garlic and spices. Let cook.
- Add in the chickpeas, tomatoes and 3/4 Cup Water.
- Bring to a boil. Let simmer until it has a thick consistency.
- Transfer to bowls and add scallions on top before serving.
