Pack up your leftover Spicy Harvest Soup with a Fresh Baked French Bread Boule from our bakery. While you’re waiting to heat up the soup, hollow out the center of the bread so you can fill it with the soup. Save the bread you cut out to use for dipping!
Remember to pack plenty of water with you before you head off to work. We take advantage of the cold weather and store our Poland Spring 24 Pack Water in our garage so they stay cold and save room in our fridge. Also perfect to have right in front of you before you are rushing to make it to work on time. Staying hydrated throughout the day isn’t just important for health reasons but it will also keep you from overeating.
Make a batch of Caramel Covered Apples with the kids after school or on the weekend. Let the kids make funny faces on the apples by sticking different candies them. It’s a great activity for the whole family and the kids always have a blast with it. You may have trouble packing these in a lunchbox the next day (besides, you may want to pack something healthy) but you can recreate the experience for them. Cut cubes of Cabot Cheese Bars, Seedless Grapes and whatever else you think think of to make an Apple Face. Use toothpicks to hold them into place or use Cream Cheese or some kind of Spread so they stick to the Apple. Its sure to put a smile on the little one’s face when they open up their lunchbox!
If you’re packing the kids’ lunches make them a Peanut Butter and Fluff sandwich using Marshmallow Fluff and Teddie All Natural Peanut Butter on some Country Kitchen Split Top Wheat Bread. Use cookie cutters to shape their sandwiches into something fun.
We came across a new use for Marshmallow Fluff one night while we were fixing ourselves up some hot chocolate. The kids love those tiny marshmallows in their cocoa, but of course we were out. As we were frantically looking for the hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, we came across a jar of Fluff. We thought it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try. Its made out of Marshmallow, so it couldn’t taste much different. So we added a few dollops of Marshmallow Fluff on top of our hot cocoa. We loved it! Do you have any unusual uses for the food in your cabinet? Feel free to share them with us.
