Freaky Friday
Remember to come visit us on October 28th for our Freaky Friday Sale. This one day sale has items that are perfect to pack for lunch. Whether you’re looking for snacks to grab on the go, or something to drinks to toss in the kids’ lunchboxes.
Trying to make a unique lunch every day of the week is practically impossible to do. But that does not mean you need to resort to eating the same thing every day. Instead of thinking of something extravagant, go with changing the small stuff. It’s easier, less stressful, and you will be able to satisfy your taste buds.
When it comes to packing snacks (especially for the kids), grab those variety packs! Keebler Multi-Pack Cookies & Crackers are part of our Freaky Friday sale. They give you options so you can pick and choose what you feel like having that day. Let the kids pick out their own snack each morning before sending them off to school. Make them responsible each morning for picking out which snack they want. It will let them have a little more control and give them some independence, instead of feeling like they’re being forced to eat whatever you give them.
Grab Domestic Cooked Ham freshly sliced from our Deli Department. Everybody needs their cold cuts! Pick up our Fresh Baked Finger Rolls from our Bakery Department for a delicious sandwich.
Special Snacks & Spooky Surprises
Spread Montchevre Goat Cheese Log on top of some Town House Crackers. Add some jam on top for a sweet snack to hold you over in between meals or for a light lunch.
Different varieties of Post Cereals are on sale this week. Try something new for a light healthy snack. Add some Raisin Bran to your favorite variety of LaYogurt Yogurt.
Leave a little spooky surprise for your kids. Take a Tissue and wrap around a lollipop. Use some orange and black ribbon to tie around the pop. Using a magic marker, draw a spooky ghost face.
Write a note on some decorated Halloween paper to put in the kids’ lunchboxes.
Cut up a McIntosh Apple from our Freaky Friday Sale into thin slices. Use a ghost or pumpkin shaped cookie cutter and serve with a bowl of Teddie All Natural Peanut Butter for the kids. Or make a caramel dip for the adults.
Turn your regular Tuna Melt into a Spooky Sandwich! Use Geisha Chunk Light Tuna and Dietz & Watson American Cheese on sale to make it. Use any Halloween cookie cutter you want to cut out of the top slice of bread.
