You don’t have to recreate the sandwich for it to be unique and different. Sometimes the more you try to be inventive with your food, you can get a little too creative. Stick to the things you know you like, and start with making small changes.
We suggest starting off with switching up the varieties of bread you use. If you have bananas that are just a little too ripe, don’t put them to waste by throwing them away. Make some banana bread with them. We love banana bread because you can literally enjoy it any time of the day. Perfect for breakfast, a late night snack….and even lunch. Use two slices of banana bread to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Use Teddie All Natural Peanut Butter ($3.39 – 26 oz) and Welch’s Grape Jelly or Jam (2/$4 – 22-32 oz) to spread on top. We think Nutella and Peanut Butter on Banana Bread would be delicious too!
Spread your Teddie All Natural Peanut Butter ($3.39 – 26 oz) on a slice of Country Kitchen Split Top Wheat Bread ($1.99 – 20 oz). Cut up thin slices of McIntosh Apples (2/$5 – 3 Lb Bag) and lay on top. We tried drizzling some Honey over the apple slices, and then sprinkled dried cranberries on top. The honey did more than add a sweet flavor, it helped keep the cranberries in place. Try sprinkling some Sun•Maid Seedless Raisins ($2.99 – 24 oz) on sale.
