If you’re looking for something healthy you can eat while you’re on the go, pick up Special K Cereal Bars (2/$5 – 4.4-4.86 oz). They’re perfect for those of us who never actually get to sit down and eat breakfast, or like a little something to snack on in between meals.
Use Trucchi’s 100% Wheat or Multigrain Bread (99¢ – 18 oz) and our fresh Homestyle Seafood Salad ($2.49 Lb) for a delicious sandwich. Add a few leaves of Crisp Romaine Lettuce ($1.49 Ea) if you want to add a little something extra. For those who don’t like too much bread, try using Arnold Sandwich Thins (2/$5 – 12 oz).
Try something really different next time you make a sandwich. Trade your two slices of bread in for two Eggo Waffles ($1.99 – 10.75-12.6 oz). Pop them in the toaster and let them cool off. Put a slice of Land O Lakes American Cheese ($4.99 Lb) on top of one of the waffles. Then add a few slices of Domestic Cooked Ham ($3.49 Lb) over the cheese. Thinly slice a pear or an apple to add on top of the ham and take the other waffle to complete your waffle sandwich. Use Mrs. Butterworth’s Syrup ($2.99 – 24 oz) for dipping. You can also put the sandwich together before putting the waffles in the toaster so it all melts together. We made our own version of this sandwich by altering it a little bit. We tried using Arnold Sandwich Thins (2/$5 – 12 oz) in place of the waffles and added in a few slices of Farmland Bacon ($3.99 – 1 Lb). We loved it all melted together!
