Recipe Type: Entree
- 1 Cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce
- 2 Lbs Bone In Beef Short Ribs
- 1 Cup Diced Onion
- Salt and Pepper, To Taste
- 1/4 Cup Red Wine
- 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- Add ribs and half a cup of the onion into a large pot. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add enough water to cover the ribs. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer. Cover.
- Let cook until the ribs are tender, which should take about an hour.
- Once cooked, drain the ribs, reserving 1/4 Cup of the cooking liquid.
- Take a 9×9 baking dish and place the ribs into the dish.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Add barbecue sauce, wine, reserved cooking liquid, the remaining half cup of onion and garlic to a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Pour over the ribs in the baking dish. Use foil to cover the dish and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the sauce becomes bubbly and ribs are heated through. Serve.
