When It All Began…
Fage Yogurt (Pronounced “fa-yeh”) is one of our newest additions to our Dairy shelves. Although this product has been around since 1926, it wasn’t until 1998 that the yogurt made its way to the United States. Starting off as a small dairy shop in Athens, Greece by Athanassios Filippou, it is now internationally distributed and growing in popularity. How was such a small company able to obtain so much success? It’s all in the unbelievably decadent taste of their yogurt and the unique packaging.
What Makes Fage So Unique…
Fage is an All Natural Greek Strained Yogurt, and is made using a proprietary process which is how it gets such a thick and creamy texture. Another quality that has become a favorite of Fage fans everywhere, is the packaging. Contained in “Split Cups”, you get to choose how much flavoring you want to add to the yogurt. Giving all of the yogurt lovers out there the convenience of controlling the flavor and overall taste of their yogurt.
Visit the Fage Website to get even more information on their products. They even have Recipes to to try using their yogurt with. Pick up Fage Total Split Cups Yogurt with Fruit and try it out today. Let us know what you think!
