| Beloved Blarney Bars |
Recipe Type: Dessert
- 1 Package of Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
- All ingredients to make the chocolate chips cookies according the package
- Frosting:
- 3 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 3 oz. Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/4 Cup Butter, Softened
- 2 Tablespoons Hood 1% Milk
- 1/4 Teaspoon Mint Extract
- 5 Drops Green Food Coloring
- For the Glaze:
- 1 oz Unsweetened Baking Chocolate
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- Preheat your oven according to the directions on the package of cookie mix. Grease a 13 x 9 baking dish.
- Mix the ingredients for the cookies together in a bowl. Spread the dough along the bottom of the pan. Bake for about 15 minutes.
- Once the bars have cooled down, begin mixing the ingredients to make the frosting.
- Once the frosting is stirred smooth, spread over the bars.
- Mix the ingredients for the glaze in a microwavable bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds on high.
- Stir the contents until the glaze is smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the frosted bars.
- Pop in your refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Cut into squares. Serve. Store covered in the refrigerator.
