Celebrate Halloween by enjoying your favorite treats. From ready to eat snacks and candies, to unique ideas to make some on your own.
Trucchi’s Bakery has a large variety of Halloween cookies, cakes and snacks to choose from for all of your spooky celebrations! Holiday Mini Cupcakes ($1.99 – 12 pkg) are available in Gold or Chocolate and are festively decorated for Halloween. Our Bakery also has Halloween Decorated Cakes ($5.99 -32 oz) available in gold or chocolate while supplies last. Carvel Pumpkin Face Ice Cream Cake ($11.99 – 48 oz) are also on sale. Look for the Carvel refrigerator in our Bakery department to pick them up.
Halloween is all about embracing your sweet tooth. Our Fruit Nut and Candy Program located in our Produce Department carries a wide variety of wrapped candy to pass out to those Trick-or-Treaters.
Hollow out a small pumpkin and serve your favorite cheesy dip inside. Pick up Margaritaville Tortilla Chips ($2.99 ea – 13 oz) for dunking.
Make Duncan Hines Cookies (.99¢ – 9-10.5 oz) using Halloween Cookie Cutters. Frost them with Duncan Hines Frosting (3/$5 – 16-18 oz) and decorate them. Try making spiderweb cookies and and dragging a toothpick across to form the web.
Bake some Duncan Hines Cupcakes (.99¢ – 9-10.5 oz) and transform them into Jack O Lanterns by spreading orange frosting on top and decorating with black icing.
If you’re having a Halloween party or looking to give something special away to your trick-or-treaters, we have just the thing. Buy a bag of lollipops and wrap a tissue around each pop. Secure down with black and orange ribbon and draw a face on it to make a ghost.
Witch Hats are a unique treat that’s fun to make with the kids. All you need are some chocolate cookies, chocolate ice cream cones, chocolate Duncan Hines Frosting (3/$5 – 16-18 oz), and your choice of small candies. Fill each cone with your candy. Spread some frosting on the center of each cookie. Place the cookie on top of the ice cream cone and flip over. Have the kids decorate each witch hat.
Use Locally Grown Tote Bag Apples (.69¢ lb) to make candy apples…a classic Halloween treat. Use Concord Foods Caramel & Candy Apple Kits (.99¢ – 5 oz) to make them. Try sprinkling each apple with different candies like mini chocolate chips or rainbow sprinkles (both available in our Fruit Nut and Candy Program).
