Ingredients
Sauteed Nectarines:
- 5 ¢entsational $avings Nectarines ($1.29 lb – Packaged), Diced
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Cinnamon Sticks:
- Pillsbury Ready Made Pie Crusts (Refrigerated)
- 1/4 Stick Butter
- Granulated Sugar
- Ground Cinnamon
Directions
Sauteed Nectarines: Place large skillet over low heat and add in butter. After butter has melted, add in the diced nectarines. Add brown sugar in and stir. Sprinkle in cinnamon and nutmeg for flavor. Saute in the skillet until nectarines begin to brown. Cinnamon Sticks: Lay out the pie crust on a baking sheet that is wrapped in aluminum foil. Slice into strips about 1 inch wide. In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 stick stick butter. Once melted, brush the butter over the cut pie crust, covering completely. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and place in the oven (Preheat and cook according to directions on the package). It should take about 10 minutes, or until browned. Serve with the Sauteed Nectarines and Scoops of Hood Vanilla Ice Cream (2/$5 – 48 oz).
