Savory Sandwiches
Make your sandwich inside Joseph’s White Pita Bread (.99¢ – 11 oz) for lunch. We like to take our salad and stuff it into one, like a pocket.
We were tempted to add something different to our Geisha Chunk Light Tuna (3/$2 – 5 oz). We like to add For an extra zing, we added a sprinkle of Southwestern Panko Breadcrumbs. It gave our tuna a delicious spicy flavor. We tried firsthand what tuna tastes like on top of Magic Pop, and we loved it! Try cutting up some Napoli Roasted Peppers ($1.69 – 12 oz) and chopped California Celery ($1.69 – Sleeve).
Have you ever tried Martin’s Potato Rolls? They are unlike any roll or bun we have ever tasted. Pick up a package of Martin’s Potato Long Rolls (2/$4 – 15 oz) and give them a try. You’re sure to become hooked like we are.
Weekend Lunchtime…
You don’t have to change much to your everyday lunch to make make it something spectacular. Try making different salsas or chutneys to add to your sandwiches or add on top of your salads. Decide what to add to your salsas based on what fresh produce is on sale. Don’t forget we have Weekend Specials in our produce department too. We like to use freshly diced Mango in our salsas.
One of the best things about summer is the seafood. Enjoy Portuguese Stuffies Stuffed Quahogs ($1.49 – 4 oz) that are already fully cooked. Heat them up on the grill for lunchtime on the weekend.
