A Light Lunch…
Everything you need to make a Greek Salad is on sale. Shred some California Iceberg Lettuce (.99¢ ea), dice a Red Ripe Beefsteak Tomato ($1.99 lb), crumble some Star Dairy Chunked Feta ($4.99 lb – Store Packed) and toss Star Imported Greek Pepperoncini ($1.69 – 16 oz) on top for some flavor. Drizzle Marie’s Greek Vinaigrette Dressing ($2.69 – 11.5 oz) over the salad.
Cut a Jumbo Cantaloupe Melon in half ($1.99 ea) and hollow it out. Cut up the melon you scooped out into small pieces. Rinse off your favorite fruits, along with the cantaloupe pieces and add it to the hollowed out Cantaloupe bowl. Try our Red & Green Seedless Grapes ($1.69 lb), and Sweet Juicy Peaches ($1.29 lb – ¢entsational $avings). Many people enjoy adding Chobani Nonfat Greek Yogurt (2/$5 – 16 oz) in with their fruit too. Try scooping some Whole Fruit Sorbet (2/$6- Pint) for something a little different.
Packing for the kids…
Make the kids something they will actually eat for lunch. When you make their sandwiches, instead of using regular bread…try making it between Eggo Waffles ($1.79 – 10.9-12.6 oz). Choose which flavor of waffle by what you decide on putting in the middle. Try making Mini Waffle sandwiches to make lunch more fun.
