Healthy Snacks…
Dannon Yogurt (10/$5 – 6 oz) is delicious all by itself, or perhaps with some granola. If you want to try something different…add in Post Cereals Grape Nuts (2/$6 – 24 oz). It adds that crunchy flavor as well as that natural whole grain wheat to your diet. Grape Nuts are a great source of fiber and are a delicious addition to yogurt.
Add Kumquats to the usual salad you bring to lunch. Or just bring them to snack on as they are.
Toast some Portuguese Bread ($1.99 – 18 oz) from our bakery and spread Roasted Red Pepper Hummus ($2.99 – 10 oz). Pack up sliced veggies like peppers, tomatoes and carrots for dunking. A healthy but delicious snack for lunch.
Meal Ideas…
Willow Tree Chicken Salad ($4.99 lb) makes a fantastic sandwich. It also is delicious on top of a bed of Crisp Romaine Lettuce ($1.49 ea).
Shred California Iceberg Lettuce (.99¢ Ea) and cut Golden Ripe Pineapples ($2.99 ea.) into cubes. Add your favorite Marie’s Dressing (2/$5 – 11.5 – 12 oz) on top. Try adding pine nuts and Chinese noodles (SAVE with our Fruit Nut and Candy Program) to add on top.
We have a great deal on Cookin’ Good Express Chicken ($3.99 – 2 Lb pkg) that’s perfect to make for the kids at lunchtime.
