We want to share with you, our fondest memories of the past 10 years. We have been working incredibly hard to to bring variety of foods, unique items, the highest quality, freshness and of course low prices, to our stores. We think these certain store events and programs have helped us maintain and help form just that. From everyone here at Trucchi’s Supermarkets, your loyalty as a customer is sincerely appreciated.
What’s For Dinner?
Our “What’s For Dinner?” program became available in 2001 in our Meat Departments. “What’s For Dinner?” is something we started to make less work for you in the kitchen. How is it easier? These packaged meats have already been marinated and seasoned. All you have to do is cook or grill these items and you have a delicious dinner. Take a look through our meat cases next time you visit us and look for our “What’s For Dinner?” sign.

Specialty Italian Imported Foods
In 2002, we began offering a small selection of imported Italian Foods. Throughout the years, this small selection has turned into a growing list Italian Specialty Products. Ranging from pastries supplied by Gina Marie Bakery, to countless Napoli pastas, tomato sauces, olive oils and so much more.
Wilma Jean Baskets
We often hear from our customers that they shop at Trucchi’s for the close-knit, family-like environment. However, we have discovered over the years that it is also our unique items we have available in our stores. In 2006, we gave it a shot and made our own Wilma Jean Baskets available that holiday season. After receiving a positive response, we have been offering these specialty baskets that are personally arranged during the holiday seasons.
¢entsational $avings
¢entsational $avings is “a value program for our customers to add substantial savings on products” according to our Produce Buyer, Bernie Oates. It truly is just that. This program has taken off since it began in February, 2007. Read about the special reset of our ¢entsational $avings program…

Pizza Fridays
We didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into when we began our Pizza Fridays. A certain frenzy began. We knew how much everyone loved the our store made Pizza from our Deli. Why not get a good jump start to the weekend with $1 OFF? Pizza Fridays have become such a success we now have Shepherd’s Pie Wednesdays.

Fruit Nut and Candy Program
Once this program got started, it just took off. Our Fruit Nut Candy section in our stores can help you save a significant amount of money. Especially for those who love to bake. Instead of purchasing a large bag of sliced almonds, we offer them in smaller containers. You get to pick exactly how much you would like to buy, rather than feeling forced to buy larger amounts. We are also always available if you would like an item in a smaller or larger container. Because we buy our dried fruits, nuts and candies in bulk, we are able to sell it for less. We package them in airtight, easily re-closable containers, with a safety seal. We are constantly expanding our selection, and bring special candies in around the holidays.

Social Networking
The new worlds of Facebook and Twitter have really shown us how much more we can communicate with you. We created a Facebook Page and have a Twitter account, as of 2009. Become a fan and follower on these websites to stay updated on our sales and click on different recipes and tips. Feedback from our customers is already growing. These well known social networking sites have truly created a new way to communicate to our customers. We love reading what is posted because it lets us know what you like and what you want changed.
Can Hunger! Food Donation Bags
In February 2009, we began offering our Food Donation Bags. With the economy plummeting, local food pantries were in need of more donations. We began to see just how generous our customers truly were by the amount of bags purchased. In efforts to CAN Hunger, these donation bags are always available for purchase at each of our stores’ registers. Thank you for your continuous generosity…
Cell Phones For Soldiers
We began collecting for Cell Phones For Soldiers in January 2010. By April, Trucchi’s was able to donate over 20,000 minutes of talk time to our Soldiers! All because of your generosity. We never imagined this drive would be such a success. Getting involved with special drives such as Cell Phones For Soldiers and Can Hunger Food Drive are important to us. It is a way for us to support our local communities and of course, our brave soldiers.
Shopping Carts
The arrivals of the small shopping carts came to our stores in 2009. It was becoming all too noticeable that they were desperately needed. Many of us run into the store needing more than just a few things, but not enough to grab a large carriage. These carts are the perfect size and much easier to get around with.

Hometown Deal Tags
Since 2009, we have been diligently working to lower prices significantly on over a thousand of our items from every single department. In 2010, we marked these items throughout our stores with distinct, brightly colored “Hometown Deal” tags. This has been a very big project for us in a sincere effort to give you the absolute best deals possible. Look for them next time you are shopping to get EXTRA SAVINGS.
