- Cook’s Spiral Half Ham
- 1/2 Cup Whole Cloves
- 1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- Dole Pineapple Slices
- 4 oz. Chopped Maraschino Cherries
- 12 oz Sprite
- Preheat your oven to 325°F.
- Lay your ham into a roasting pan. In a diamond pattern, score the rind of the ham. Place a clove into the middle of each diamond.
- Take the Dole Pineapple Slices and drain juice into a bowl. Add the brown sugar and soda. Take the mixture and coat the ham. Place the pineapples over the ham. Add a cherry in the center of the pineapple rings using a toothpick.
- Put into the oven for 4 to 5 hours uncovered. Baste the ham with the juices frequently. When the ham has reached the internal temperature of 160°F it is ready to take out. Make sure when you are checking the temperature that the thermometer is not touching the bone of the ham. Don’t forget to take out the toothpicks!
