Salads
Make a delicious salad in a large bowl and separate in plastic containers to enjoy at work. Pick out your favorite Marie’s Salad Dressing (2/$5 – 11.5 -12 oz) and grab a head of California Iceberg Lettuce (.99¢ ea.) to get started. Add a can of drained Geisha Mandarin Oranges (3/$2 – 11 oz) Our Fruit, Nut and Candy Program in our Produce Department offers packaged nuts that make the perfect addition to your salad. Try praline pecans, sliced almonds, or caramelized walnuts. Don’t like any of those? We have plenty more, take a look at our full list of Fruit Nut and Candy.
Cook up some Barilla Plus Pasta (3/$5 – 14.5 oz) and make a cold pasta salad to pack for lunch. If you want fresh vegetables included, add them right in the boiling pot of pasta a minute before you take it off the stove.
Ultimate Sandwiches
Be resourceful when it comes to making lunch. Use those leftovers from your St. Patty’s Day boiled dinner. Take your corned beef and make a Reuben Sandwich. This would make a great dinner idea if you’re not up for it at lunchtime.
Make a Panini with Land O Lakes American Cheese ($3.99 Lb) and Olymel Imported Cooked Ham ($4.59 Lb). Throw in some Genoa Salami ($4.99 Lb) and spread Roasted Red Pepper Sabra Hummus ($2.99 – 10 oz.) on top. Try different cold cuts or spreads to find what you like best.
