It’s a great vegetable to eat to help your body fight against diseases. Cauliflower is known to contain 13C and photonutrient sulforaphane, which are known to prevent against the damage of cells and formation of tumors. The combination of these two ingredients that are found in the vegetable, can lower the levels of estrogen. This is important because high levels of estrogen are found to promote the growth of tumors. Those who suffer from anemia are usually recommended to eat more cauliflower because of its content in Folate, which helps your blood run more efficiently. Folate is incredibly important to keep in your diet. Folate Deficiency leaves you susceptible to heart disease and cancer. Cauliflower also contains high levels of Vitamin C which is an antioxidant your body needs and keeps your immune system in good condition.
