If you have been inside a Trucchi’s store, than you may have noticed our wide variety of Italian products. Each of our store locations carry these Specially Imported Items and they are at incredibly low prices. We want to share a little background information about these products and encourage you to see for yourself how great they are. They really are worth a try and will save you money.
Taralli is one of the newer arrivals. Taralli is a type of home style biscuit that is boiled with Fennel Seeds and contains all natural ingredients. We would probably equate the texture of Taralli to that of a pretzel or bread stick. Italians typically dip the snack into their wine or soup.
We also carry Gina Marie’s Angel Wings. This light and crispy pastry is sure to make your mouth water and absolutely delicious, no wonder its their best selling item. The Cavallo Family who started the Gina Marie Bakery immigrated to the United States in 1955.
Napoli Products are displayed throughout all of our stores. Look for Napoli Gnocchi (2/$3.00) to make for supper. Do not underestimate how filling these these tiny potato dumplings can be. They only take about 10 minutes to prepare and are so delicious.
