According to a recent study conducted by The American Heart Association, Americans are eating way too much salt. The good thing is we don’t have to do much to fix that. All you need to do is take out 3 grams a day on our salt intake. That’s basically nothing if you shave off a little bit with each meal you eat. Just by cutting back this small amount of salt, you are significantly reducing risks of a heart attack and high blood pressure. Even if you are able to take off 1 gram of salt a day, the effects on your heart are still strong.

Salmon

Salmon contains a significant amount of this fatty acid, making it a great dinner idea for the family. If you don’t enjoy Salmon, Albacore Tuna, Herring and Lake Trout have also shown high levels of Omega-3 Acids.
